Using the checks
- Check sites you own, manage, or have a legitimate reason to look at. Don't use VAKSEL to load-test, scan or attack a site.
- Checks are rate-limited. Don't try to get around the limits with automation or multiple networks.
What the results mean
Results are our best reading at the time of the check. We test from data-center IP addresses with each crawler's user agent, not from the crawlers' own networks, so a site that verifies crawler IP addresses may treat the real crawler differently. Each result shows a confidence level for this reason. Crawler descriptions follow each operator's public documentation as of the date shown.
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for decisions made from a report, or for any loss arising from use of the service, to the extent the law allows.
Paid plans
Monitoring plans are in early access. Joining the list doesn't commit you to pay. When paid plans open, their terms and prices will be shown before you subscribe.
